The Worlds Gone Nuts

The world's gone nuts.

People hating, buildings blowing, kids dying.

When will it end?

The sky's melting, collapsing, annihilating.
Our Mother lamenting, our fathers are quibbling
Talking bout taxing
The votes they're counting, the small folk frowning
Make up your mind before we all start drowning

Will it ever end?

Life's short, they've been saying,
A lifetime of hurting, in the curled fists of a child
Swatting flies, shrieking cries, drinking lies
They say we have enough food to feed the world over thrice
Where is it? Sitting at Woolies, waiting to expire

But we dont want it to end.

We keep watching, fearing, desensitizing.
Praying to a God we've stopped believing
Ignoring yet hoping, our Ark's still floating
Till when, we've stopped asking
We've forgotten the lessons so continue destroying

It wont end.

Not now.

Not if we spread the caring
Chancing to turn the tide, to stop the warring
End the hungering, quench the thirsting
Coax our Mother to continue sprouting

The world may have gone nuts
But stop hating, rejoice, keep hoping
For with every cloud, comes a silver lining
This isn't the end, its another beginning...
